Carbon Neutral.
What does it mean?
Carbon Neutral is a state where a company has a net zero carbon footprint. This means that the amount of carbon emissions released into the atmosphere is equal to the amount of carbon emissions that have been removed from the atmosphere.
Companies, processes and products become carbon neutral when they calculate their carbon emissions and compensate for what they have produced via carbon offsetting projects. Offsetting carbon emissions, in addition to avoidance and reduction, is an important step in holistic climate action.
How we become Carbon Neutral.
We plant one tree in the Amazon Rainforest for each job completed. Partnering with One Tree Planted, we represent Manchester and Locksmiths in securing a healthier planet for our future.
Producing carbon is becoming more and more avoidable. However, for most business’s this is not feasible on a full time basis due to the need to be mobile.
With most being unable to switch to electric vehicles, work from home or other methods, supporting the planet in renewable resources is the next best method.
Once a week, we make a donation directly to One Tree Planted in relation to our activities and operations. This ensures that meet our responsibilities in remaining 100% neutral to carbon use.
